I rescued a beagle/wiener dog mix from the pound. The first name that came to mind was Sadie, but i had also had the name Ellie in mind. So i did the 'name test'. I put her on the floor and called out both names in the same tone of voice. She automatically responded to Ellie. It's the perfect name for my adorable pooch <333
