My wife would say that she was our sensor as Sophie Girl would know if things were good or if there was the slightest bit of stress in the tone of our voices. God sent us an angel when he sent us Sophie and I know he has more to send. If you are thinking about naming your new puppy I would highly reccomend the name Sophie Girl, if your puppie grows up to be half of what our puppie is and was to us you will have the worlds second best dog only eclipsed by our sweet little Sophie Girl. sophie means "wisdom" or "skill". We lost our Sophie at 3 years old to what we thought was EPI, but was more than likely pancreatic cancer. She was the most gentle and loving English Setter. She will be hard to replace, but we are now waiting out 7 more weeks to get our new English Setter puppy. We believe Sophie sent us her from doggie heaven, so I think her name will be "Lani" which means "Heaven". We miss you Sophie!!
